We are interested in the emerging field of bioinformatics, using computation to analyze genome sequences, studying protein structural similarities, and in the development of tools to aid such analyses.
Our interests
- Development of tools for such predictive exercises.
- Databases.
- Large-scale sequence analysis of proteins that are determined by genome sequence projects.
- Studying protein structural similarities which are important to the prediction of fold and/or function of new proteins.
- Applying existing methods to specific systems which are of interest to collaborative research.
