STIFDB Provides Data in 2 levels:

Gene Description : AT2G30920

Locus IdentifierGene Model NameGene Model DescriptionGene Model Type
AT2G30920AT2G30920.1The enzyme encoded by this gene has been shown to complement the Saccharomyces cerevisiae coq3 mutation and, therefore, to have hexaprenyldihydroxybenzoate methyltransferase activity. It is however likely that, in Arabidopsis, the enzyme catalyzes the methylation of nonaprenyldihydroxybenzoate as it is the prevalent polyprenoid in this plant species. The enzyme is a mitochondrial-localized methyltransferase involved in ubiquinone biosynthesis.
