Other Requirements1. Since Bhallataka is a strong local irritant and produces Daha, etc. necessary precaution should be taken to avoid direct contact of the body with it during the process of purification and boiling. 2. This preparation should not be used in Pitta prakrti people and in Grishma ans Sharat rtu. 3. Pungent and spicy articles of food should be avoided during the administration of Ghrita. Exposure to heat and sun should also be avoided.

MethodRipe Bhallataka is rubbed well with brick powder. Washed in hot water and dried in shade. Cut into small pieces and boiled in specified water. When decoction is cool, milk is added & boiled to specified quantity.
